About Avery

The Mind Behind Magister
Avery Goodman is the founder and creative mind behind Magister Creative – a strategist, writer, artist, storyteller, educator, and world-builder drawn to the places where ideas collide.
His work lives at the intersection of creativity, psychology, mythology, storytelling, branding, technology, and imagination. He has a particular talent for finding connections between seemingly unrelated ideas and transforming them into stories, systems, and creative frameworks people can actually use.
A lifelong fascination with symbolism, consciousness, metaphysics, fantasy, and human psychology shapes the way Avery approaches creative work. For him, imagination is not just entertainment -it is one of the tools people use to understand themselves, communicate meaning, and create change.
Ideas, Worlds & Transformation
Avery’s creative life has never stayed inside one box.
From writing and world-building to visual design, puppetry, education, personal development, and creative strategy, his work is connected by a fascination with transformation – how an idea becomes a story, how a story becomes an experience, and how an experience changes the way someone sees the world.
That same curiosity led to Feel Good Now, his exploration of practical approaches to emotional well-being and personal transformation. It also informs his work in storytelling, performance, puppetry, and imaginative education.

Connection
Meaning appears when seemingly unrelated ideas are allowed to speak to one another.
Transformation
The goal is not simply to make something look different. It is to change how people understand, experience, or respond to it.
A Modern Renaissance Workshop
Where disciplines collide, new possibilities appear.
Magister Creative is built around the idea of the Renaissance workshop: a place where art, research, strategy, storytelling, technology, symbolism, and experimentation are not separate disciplines – they are parts of the same creative process.
Avery approaches creative work by gathering ideas from different worlds, finding the relationships between them, and asking what becomes possible when they are brought together. The result is work that is thoughtful without being rigid, imaginative without losing purpose, and designed to communicate something deeper than surface aesthetics.
The goal is not simply to make something look better. It is to make the idea matter.
That comes directly out of the philosophy Avery gave us: Magister as a modern Renaissance-style studio where strategy, story, design, technology, research, and imagination coexist.
